HUS110 Introduction to Child Welfare
Introduces the history, mission, scope and context of child welfare services and practice, including the underlying philosophy of the field. Includes a survey of the present conditions, cultural and relationship issues, and outcomes of service delivery in both public and private child welfare settings. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
