Details about this class

Management Fundamentals is an introduction to the exciting world of management, where ideas are transformed into action, and future leaders begin developing the skills needed to guide organizations successfully.

This fully online course (no required meetings) is designed to provide a flexible and engaging learning experience. Through weekly course materials, recorded content, and interactive discussions, you will explore key management concepts and apply them to real-world situations. Rather than simply reading course content, you will actively engage with ideas, participate in discussion activities, and build a strong foundation in essential management terminology and strategies.

Throughout the course, you will discover what managers do and why effective management plays a critical role in organizational success.

Get ready to dive into:
  • Different levels of management and what they actually do
  • Leadership and management styles that shape organizations
  • Smart decision-making and problem-solving techniques
  • Core business functions: planning, organizing, leading, directing, and controlling
  • How modern trends are reshaping management today

By the end of the course, you won’t just understand management—you’ll start thinking like a manager.
