Details about this class

Hello! Welcome to Writing 121,

This is a remote and online course, taught through Zoom, which includes two writing conferences with me via Zoom.

The theme of the course is about exploring the concept of realization (light bulb or moment of truth) in your life as well as others' lives as displayed in literature or film. You will engage through discussions, readings, a personal narrative, by watching a film or reading a short story and then investigating and writing a research essay.

You'll meet with me for these two writing conferences throughout the term for support and to discuss your writing skills and how to improve drafts of essays as well as any additional support. I hold flexible office hours, via Zoom on the same day as our class, or by appointment at a time that works for you.

I look forward to having you in class, teaching and learning with you! (:

Warmly,

~Jocelin
