Details about this class

Welcome to WR 121! I look forward to getting to know your interests and to support your writing growth and development! All of us are active learners, so bring your curiosity and be open to growth. Writing learning is about attention and practice, not about perfection!

Our course will be fully online this term. We will NOT be having remote or in-person class meetings. All necessary materials will be provided via the D2L course page or me. Textbooks are NOT required. Opportunities to meet with the me one-on-one for conferences or via drop-in office hours will be available.

Assignments will be due weekly. Grading will be based on a grading contract that values student effort and attention to assignment requirements. I want you to be successful and your effort matters! Learning for all of us comes through trying, practicing, wondering, asking, reflecting and communicating.

Bring your curiosity and desire to learn!  Our WR 121 course is designed to allow opportunities to practice writing concepts and challenges in a step-by-step manner leading to essay assignments using an inquiry approach to pursue a topic of your own choosing.  Please email me if you have any questions: kelly.lefave@pcc.edu
