Covers advanced and special topics in veterinary technician training, with an emphasis on veterinary specialties. Includes electrocardiography, necropsy techniques, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Includes guest lecturers from a variety of veterinary and veterinary technician specialties, such as exotic animal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, imaging, and others. Includes investigating, researching, and reporting on topics of special interest. Prerequisite: Admission to Veterinary Technology program. (See course content and outcomes.)
