Introduction to Whitewater Packrafting
Do you love adventures and want to explore the skills needed for whitewater packrafting? Learn about the gear, river conditions, paddling skills and river safety. Essential gear will be provided. Students are required to respond to emails.
Students will be emailed (we will require a response) prior to class to obtain information needed to outfit them with appropriate gear. This will also allow students to ask any questions ahead of time. Students will meet at Clackamas River Outfitters (at 360 SW Zobrist St. Estacada, OR 97023) to collect gear and travel to the class/river site. Late arrival may put students at risk of missing class. We will reserve the need to cancel class due to unsafe river conditions (levels) and this can happen the morning of a scheduled class so paying close attention to email communications is important.
