Details about this class

Dear students, welcome to the class. This is a fantastic course and I am here to serve each of you and ensure your academic success.

We will be meeting on Zoom on Thursdays 6:00-7:50 pm. Use of cameras for the class is very much encouraged as it creates a more engaging and personal climate in the classroom.

Students will be also working independently studying not only the textbook, but also materials posted in D2L. We will have weekly quizzes, midterm and final and a few written papers/discussions.

Please order your textbook from our PCC bookstore (it will be an E-book - the cheapest price). The textbook info: "Intimate Relationships" by R. Miller. Publisher McGraw Hill, 9th Edition. If you choose to buy this text on line from other distributers, it is OK. Please note that the earlier editions are cheaper and they may work as well, but it may be a bit risky for your quizzes (some information may be missing in the older editions). I will post a free PDF file of the entire text in Week 1 Module in D2L.

I am looking forward to working with each of you this term.

Technology

NO special technology will be required to complete class objectives.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
