MUC130C Rhythm Training III

Covers advanced-level rhythmic theory, notation, and reading skills as well as rhythmic theory from around the world. Includes the history of clave rhythm, polyrhythm, and polymeter, advanced-level usage of tuplets, advanced-level time signatures, and improved sight reading skills. This is the third course in a three-course sequence. Prerequisite: MUC 130B or instructor permission. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
