PE183L Rock Climbing II

Class Schedule

Continues to build upon the skills covered in Rock Climbing I. Introduces plans to improve bouldering climbing technique, muscular strength and muscular endurance. Promotes climbing safety, proper gear and its use, movement over rock, back rock rescue, climbing etiquette, and environmental concerns. May include advanced belay techniques, belay/rappel transitions, and anchor building in a sport climbing environment. Prerequisites: PE 183D or equivalent bouldering and belay techniques. In-Person: Instructional time will happen in-person. Class meetings take place at specific times and locations.
Online (no scheduled meetings): Instruction will take place through regular online activities and assignments with scheduled due dates. Classes do not have meeting times.
Online (scheduled meetings): Instructional time will happen online. Class meetings will take place at scheduled days/times online.
