Explores rock climbing basics including: safety, proper gear and its use, movement over rock, back rock rescue, climbing etiquette, and environmental concerns. Introduces rock climbing as an activity that helps improve fitness, health, and overall wellness. Requirement: The ability to travel to local indoor rock climbing gyms to practice techniques and skills. Transportation to and from the climbing facility, as well as the ability to pay a facility use fee to the climbing facility. Facility use fee varies.
