Sound in Science and the Arts
What is sound, how is it produced, and how does it affect our bodies and emotions? Participants will explore these questions and more through a sustained project of their own creation. All levels welcome.
Through presentations, readings, discussions, and close listening exercises, this course covers areas of interest including performance, audio engineering, music composition, architectural acoustics, psychology, somatics, and physics.
