Details about this class

This is a hybrid and in-person class. You will watch videos and complete homework outside of class. During class time, we will answer homework questions, perform in class experiments, work in groups, and take quizzes. Attendance is expected and exams will be proctored and on campus.

Expect daily HW, weekly quizzes, projects, and multiple exams throughout the term.

Technology

Throughout the term, we will be using either a graphing calculator (TI-83, 84, or 89 recommended) and/or GeoGebra. You do not need to buy any special materials. This is an in-person and hybrid class. You will be required to watch course videos outside of class in preparation for class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Online Prerequisite | Start Guide for Online Learning

Before you take your first online class at PCC, you must complete the start guide for online learning. The start guide will help you decide if online classes are right for you. Once you complete the start guide, you will be eligible to register for online classes.

The Start Guide is not required for Remote classes but strongly recommended.
