Details about this class
This class examines various factors contributing to the development of troubled employees and alternative methods to manage these behaviors effectively.
You will have opportunities to recognize positive employee performance, successfully manage problem employee behavior and analyze effective disciplinary processes. In addition, you will be identifying potentially troubled employee work habits and attitudes (e.g., absenteeism, tardiness, sudden personality change), Employee Assistance Programs, and possible community assistance agencies.
In the past, many students have asked for more in-depth strategies and skills to augment their communication skill level in managing those with adverse behaviors. To honor their request, I would highly recommend registering for MSD 151: Working with Difficult People, 1-credit class, Spring Term 2023, to complement and add greater value to your skillset and educational experience.
