Details about this class
With the exception of a brief 1-time introductory Zoom meeting on the first evening of class (7:00pm), this is a fully online class. There are no set meetings other than the introductory meeting so that students have more flexibility in fitting in the classwork into their schedules. That said, students may elect to hold an occasional Zoom meeting when working on their group projects. Or, students may want to hold a Zoom meeting with me for various reasons. These are all options. Just reach out to me via the email in the class shell. I'm here to support you!
Larger Individual Assignments and Group Projects alternate and are due Mondays at 11:59pm. You can look at when other assignment discussions are due by viewing the course calendar when the course shell opens.
Here's a copy of the syllabus for you to view'24Syllabus
I'm really excited about working with all of you and co-creating a learning community!

OPTIONAL: The following 1-credit courses are excellent ways to expand your interest in an aspect of content covered in this course: MSD 174 Time Management, MSD 151 Working with Difficult People, MSD 113 Influence without Authority, MSD 159 Stress Control, and MSD 119-A Intercultural Communication.
Technology
There will be a short one-time meet & greet Zoom meeting at 7:00 pm on the first day of class to ask questions and meet fellow classmates and me. This means you'll need the required technology to make that happen for you.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
