Details about this class

***Please note, this course is fully online (this means there are no class sessions on campus or via zoom, it's all online)***

There is a required textbook for this class. Students will need to obtain full access to the text to fully engage in this course. I highly recommend purchasing/borrowing/renting/etc. an electronic version of the book so you have immediate access (If you order a physical copy of the book, it could take a couple of weeks to receive it). You can order directly from the PCC bookstore, or any other seller:

Stress Management for Life, 5th Edition
ISBN 978-0-357-36396-6
Authors: Michael Olpin and Margie Hesson
* Please note there is a single copy of our textbook on reserve (2-4 hour checkout) at each of the PCC libraries.

This course begins Monday, April 1st at 1pm. To officially check in and secure your seat in this class, you will need to complete the Required Course Check-in quiz by Thursday, April 4th at 11:59pm. Students who miss the course check-in quiz (by the due date) will be removed from the course and their seat will be made available to waitlisted students.

Open seats will be made available to waitlisted students Friday, April 5th at 12pm. Wait-listed students will receive authorization to register late. Students receiving this email must register themselves and access the course within 24 hrs of receiving the override authorization. Course materials need to be accessed within 2 days of late-add registration.

Technology

Students will need access to a computer/laptop with internet access to fully engage in this course.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
