Details about this class
This course is the next step from FT 104 Exercise Assessments - as FT 105 is Exercise Prescription. We will be reviewing all fitness tests from FT 104 and learn about behavior change and how you can influence and motivate clients to adhere to their exercise. You will be doing case studies and learning how to prescribe exercise according to ACSM. You will be using the same textbooks that were used in FT 104. You will have a final project that will be a client (classmate) that you will take through a full set of fitness assessments and then prescribe an appropriate exercise prescription for this client, based on their goals and results of their assessments. There may be time needed OUTSIDE of our class time for doing LAB ASSESSMENTS during open lab time.
