Introduces an array of digital, virtual, and PC-based technologies used in the Trades and in Trades Training. Covers Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Mail. Introduces the use of direct digital control for building automation and energy management, micro logic for programmable logical controllers, virtual learning platforms, virtual reality, augmented reality, and programming language specific to Mechatronics and CNC. Offers an introduction to some of the software used for construction management and scheduling, and the software used for planned and predictive maintenance of industrial equipment. Prerequisites: Placement into (WR 90 and RD 90) or IRW 90 and MTH 20. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
