Columbia Gorge Waterfall Photography Workshop
Learn the basics of capturing our beautiful PNW waterfalls on this epic field trip. We will travel to the Columbia Gorge and practice photographing two waterfalls, while admiring beautiful scenery along the way.
Students will also learn editing tips in a computer program back on campus after the field trip.
Students will meet at PCC SE Campus and transportation is included traveling to and from Latourell Falls and Panther Creek Falls in the Columbia River Gorge area.
Students will visit two waterfalls practicing composition and technical skills. Students will return to PCC SE Campus 2-5 PM to focus on developing images using software such as
Lightroom and enhance images in the classroom.
Students will need to bring:
- Any camera that you can adjust the shutter speed on. (Phones ok.)
- Tripod if students have one or are using a phone.
- ND Filters
- Dress for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes.
- Lunch, Snacks and Water
- Computer that can run Lightroom or similar photo-editing software OR students are welcome to simply watch demo in class.
