ESOL262 Level 8 Academic Writing

Develops upper-advanced writing skills. Includes grammar and mechanics, and builds upon expository essay styles by introducing outside research. Explores concepts including but not limited to the cultural expectations related to a U.S. academic environment with an increased emphasis on basic research conventions. This is the fifth course of a five-course sequence. Completion of ESOL 252 within the past 12 months required. Prerequisites: ESOL 252 or ESOL placement test or instructor permission. Prerequisite/concurrent: ESOL 250 and ESOL 254 or a course for which ESOL 250 is a prerequisite or for which ESOL 254 is a prerequisite or instructor permission.
