Details about this class
The course consists of assignments, discussions, a midterm exam, a final exam, and a final project.
The midterm and the final exam will be done online.
Technology
1) Students must have access to a personal computer and a C++ compiler. You can use repl.it, a browser coding environment, for most of your assignments. There are four labs to be completed on the PCC Linux server during the second half of the term. Please read Chapter 1: Getting Started with Linux in the PCC Linux and Vim manual.
2)This course requires an online textbook from zyBooks.com - there is no hardcopy textbook.

No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Online Prerequisite | Start Guide for Online Learning
Before you take your first online class at PCC, you must complete the start guide for online learning. The start guide will help you decide if online classes are right for you. Once you complete the start guide, you will be eligible to register for online classes.
