The Art of the Book: An Introduction to Bookmaking
We begin by learning about paper, tools and materials and work up to making six unique books. Our book structures include journals, accordions and books as decor, including a variety of stitches. Bring your creativity. All tools provided.
Bookmaking is a wonderful craft, with so many different types of structures to learn. Papers one can use are endless: lunch bags, postcards, watercolor paper, sulphite, copy, handmade papers and imported papers, cardboard, cardstock - if it bends, it can be a book! Class includes instructions so that you can recreate books in the future.
