Details about this class

Prepares computer professional for providing training and support to end users. Includes the roles and responsibilities of the end-user support person; characteristics of the adult learner; and strategies and techniques for developing instruction, teaching technical subject matter and providing ongoing technical support. Even experienced help desk workers have found this class to be helpful. 

Technology

This is an online class. Reliable computer and internet access are essential for your success.

Software- any word processing program will work for you to submit your assignments. 

Your text book will be utilized. As such, you need to have it for the first week of class.

Older additions will work as I work to keep cost down as much a s possible

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Online Prerequisite | Start Guide for Online Learning

Before you take your first online class at PCC, you must complete the start guide for online learning. The start guide will help you decide if online classes are right for you. Once you complete the start guide, you will be eligible to register for online classes.

The Start Guide is not required for Remote classes but strongly recommended.
