Provides an overview of key concepts and practices in information security. Covers foundational principles of cybersecurity, risk management, adversarial thinking, data and system security, as well as ethical and privacy considerations in a global society. Practical skills such as personal device protection and online safety are emphasized. Recommended: CIS 120 or CIS 121. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit Available. (See course content and outcomes.)
