Details about this class
This is a fully online class. You are encouraged to use the professors office hour times to get questions answered. Make sure that you log in on the first day of class to read the syllabus and find the tasks that you need to complete to avoid being dropped from the course.
Technology
In this class, we will be writing computer programs in Python. We'll be using PyCharm, which is free to download and use. You should also have access to Microsoft Word or Open Office (LibreOffice will also work), as well as a web browser like Chrome or Firefox (I use Chrome).
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
