Technology

This class is presented online and is asynchronous - we do not meet weekly so that you can engage with the course and the material each week as your schedule permits.

You need to log into the course at least twice a week to complete the work, but at what times and on which days is up to you. In this course, we use discussion posts and replies for many things: participation to assess how well the material I present is working to help us think about issues and for you to practice giving and receiving feedback and interacting with the ideas and analysis others provide. This is an example of why you must log into the course at least twice a week - to read, listen, and view the assigned work, post your thoughts about the week's topic, and then reply to someone else's posts. Discussion posts are due on Wednesday, and your replies are due on Sunday.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
