Details about this class

Welcome to CG100 - College Survival and Success online! I am excited to have you in class this term and I look forward to getting to know you better through our online interactions!

Be prepared to set aside six hours *per week* for the readings, online work, and assignments in this course. You will be expected to complete quizzes, participate in discussions, and complete assignments weekly.

In this class, you will be expected to use the Desire2Learn (D2L) online academic platform. You must be comfortable using online tools in order to fully participate in the course. I also expect that you will be able to send email with and without attachments, post to a discussion board, and upload your assignments correctly to the D2L system.

A course reader has been designed specifically for this class. You can download the reader from the Class Materials section in this page or from the course D2L page.

I look forward to working with all of you this term!

Technology

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
