Details about this class
This course requires 2-4 hours of self-paced “pre-work” through the Mental Health First Aid Learning Management System (MHFA Connect), which students are expected to complete 48 hours prior to the face-to-face virtual Zoom session. The week before the live class session should be devoted to completing the self-paced pre-work.
The face-to-face session will be remote/virtual and LIVE using Zoom. Students MUST complete the pre-work before the live Zoom session. Your Mental Health First Aid instructional team will send announcements regarding MHFA Connect and details of this process at least one week prior to the live Zoom session.
Technology
Personal computer, computer microphone and webcam for live Zoom meeting. If using a mobile device, the technology should be able to accommodate D2L/Brightspace, MHFA Connect, and Zoom.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
