Details about this class

Our face to face meetings will cover some of the more difficult material to learn on your own and students tend to have questions. We will cover lecture material only during this time. In a hybrid course most of the learning, for lecture, is on your own. Recorded lectures in 2 different formats (power point and MP4) are provided. Please note the on campus hours for our face to face lecture and lab time.  NOTE: On lecture exam days you will be given the opportunity to start your exam at Noon and have 30 extra minutes for the exam. The exams are 50 multiple choice questions. I will open the D2L page 2 weeks before the course begins so you can see the format and decide if this works for you. Please feel free to contact me if you have additional questions or need clarification.

Technology

We will be using the internet for the lecture portion of the course that is remote. There is a synchronous meeting, on campus, for lecture to cover the more difficult lecture material. All of the lecture material is prerecorded and captioned. You may choose to use the internet for viewing additional videos that are provided (they are not mandatory). You may also want to print materials. Materials are provided as either a word doc, pdf or html format. As of Fall of 2022 all lab classes meet on campus. All of the lab and lecture quizzes and exams will be on campus as well. Please feel free to contact me for additional information.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
