This course introduces you to global marketing in a way that’s practical, relevant, and connected to the world you already engage with every day. You’ll learn how brands reach consumers across different countries and cultures, explore global market trends, and understand how digital marketing works on an international scale.

Through interactive modules, real-world examples, and group activities, you’ll build skills in market segmentation, targeting, and strategic planning across diverse regions. Whether you’re interested in business, marketing, or simply curious about how global brands succeed, this course will help you develop a strong foundation and the confidence to think and act like a global marketer.

This course includes in-person meetings and group activities, so regular attendance is mandatory. We meet on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:20 PM at the Sylvania campus. Here are the specific in-person meeting dates:

The rest of the learning activities, such as assignments and quizzes, can be completed online outside class time.
