Learn the skills to learn and use QuickBooks Online as a tool in organizing business transactions.

  • Our remote class meets on Tuesdays at 10:00-11:50 A.M. online via Zoom.
  • Lectures are recorded via Zoom and uploaded to D2L afterwards.

Live online office hours are available weekly (optional).

All course materials are accessible on D2L and eLab course on the first day of the term

Textbook: “QuickBooks Online: Comprehensive, Academic Year 2023-2024”, (Hartley, P., 2023). Labyrinth Learning.

Instructions for creating an account in Labyrinth, registering and accessing the eLab course will be available in our D2L course when the term starts.

Labyrinth eLab course: Submit Excel as assignments and complete quiz and exam via eLab for grading purposes.

Our course syllabus will be emailed to registered students before the first day of the term.

Technology

QuickBooks Online: This course uses QuickBooks Online, which is a cloud-based Intuit software. Students can use a PC, Mac, or any mobile device to access QuickBooks Online.

Microsoft Excel: This course uses Microsoft Excel. Knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Excel are essential. Students export and download reports from QuickBooks Online to Excel before submitting Excel to eLab for grading.

 

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
