Details about this class

We will meet together at noon every Tuesday in the Rock Creek classroom. Class meetings are intended to be interactive and to include discussion, review, and lecture. Much of the activity of this class will happen online, though.

This class is scheduled to unfold in weekly modules. Each week, you are invited to learn the course material through assigned and optional readings and through structured online discussions of assigned questions. You have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge through the words you post every week to those online discussions, by taking weekly quizzes online, and through your work on several written assignments during the term. There are also options throughout the course to earn some extra credit.

We use a textbook published by Cengage Publishing, but will not use their related MindTap materials, so you are not required to obtain a MindTap access code for this class.

If this seems right for you, welcome! I look forward to meeting you at our first class meeting on March 31.

Technology

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
