BA 218 Personal Finance, is an exploration of the essential aspects of personal finance. This Remote + Online course utilizes Zoom for our virtual classroom sessions, scheduled on Thursdays at 10:00 AM, and the remaining class time will be conducted online.
Throughout this course, we will delve into the crucial role of the consumer in our economy, addressing various challenges related to financing family and individual needs. Topics covered include budgeting, banking relationships, borrowing, insurance, real estate, investing, retirement, and personal taxes. By the end of the term, you will gain valuable insights that can be applied to formulate a holistic financial plan, and a deeper understanding of key areas where critical decisions must be made.

Technology

However, you must possess a solid understanding of MS Office, with a particular emphasis on MS Word. No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Before you take your first online class at PCC, you must complete the start guide for online learning. The start guide will help you decide if online classes are right for you. Once you complete the start guide, you will be eligible to register for online classes.
