Details about this class
- This class is taught remotely via Zoom. You will need to get familiar with the D2L, a computer with Wi-Fi, updated Zoom on your computer, and a quiet place to work. It starts at 10 am, then there is a lunch break from noon to 1 pm, and continues with the afternoon session from 1 - 2:50 pm.
- There is a kit for this class at the PCC Cascade bookstore. You will need to pick it up and be ready for the second class.
- Classes are taught with demos, lectures, and a lot of feedback given throughout the term.
- There is usually one field trip to the Portland Art Museum where you need to pay $5.00 if you do not have a membership. Student memberships are available for $25.00/year.
- Forward with any questions, should you have any at una.kim@pcc.edu.
Technology
This class is taught entirely via the Internet and Zoom. You will need a reliable source of Internet connection and Zoom with the latest updated version in place. There are going to be recordings of the session, however, the attendance matters a great deal as it depends on one's progress.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
