Details about this class

Hello!

In this class, you will review basic information about life, physical, earth, and space science to assist in the preparation of the GED Science Exam and/or the transition to post-secondary education. We’ll analyze these areas of science in the context of human health, living systems, energy, and related systems.

This course is an online remote class, so we meet as a class on Tuesdays from 6pm - 7:50pm on Zoom. Your reading each week will need to be done out of class. We will use class time to prepare for the readings and practice science concepts. We will use Zoom through our D2L site on myPCC. Classes will be recorded in case you miss a class; you can go back to review anything missed.

I provide all materials, and all of these can be accessed on D2L. I will email you during the week before class starts with instructions to help you log onto our site and prepare for Day 1.

Use this link to access the class overview, example calendar, and example syllabus.

I look forward to working with you!
