Dear Students,

Where to Access Lessons and Assignments:

  • Course materials, weekly lessons, and assignments will be available in D2L Brightspace, PCC's online learning system.
  • Please plan for at least 6 hours a week to complete the course work.  We will work on lessons and assignments during class, and you may need some additional time outside of class to complete the work.  

When we will meet: 

  • Mondays and Wednesdays from 10-12:50 

How we will meet: 

  • We will meet in person at Cascade Campus in TH 210.  Here's a Cascade Campus Map: Map
  • This in-person class has a remote attendance option.  This means that you can attend our in-person class remotely through Zoom if you are unable to attend a class because you are sick, have transportation issues, childcare needs, etc.  
  • We will use computers in class.  You can bring your own, or you can use one that we provide for you in class.  
  • If you are sick and need to stay home, you can access our in person class through Zoom.

    • GED Testing Scholarships
    • $800 GED College Tuition Scholarship to help students start their college programs at PCC.  
    • I will provide more information about eligibility when we begin our work together this spring.
    • Students who complete their GED are eligible for Oregon Promise, Oregon Promise is a state grant that helps to cover tuition costs at any Oregon community college for recent high school graduates and GED® test graduates. Students must apply during their senior year or immediately after GED® test completion. Find your deadline here.
