Introduces creative writing fundamentals through techniques, styles, and structures across multicultural and contemporary poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. May also include screenwriting, digital storytelling, film, and performance genres. Develops use of craft elements in the creative writing process from idea generation to manuscript revision.
