American Gangster Films
Do you love gangster movies? Over the course of eight weeks we will watch eight American made gangster films from the 1930s to present day. We will discuss how these films evolve over the years as well as how they reflect our culture.
Come explore the evolution of the American Gangster film from roughly 1935 to present day. We will discuss 8 particular movies, each different from the other in a variety of ways. Students will be encouraged to engage in discussion during every class. The only homework will be to watch the assigned film before class and arrived prepared to discuss it.
