WELCOME! This course introduces essential concepts, theories, methods and findings in
sociology
– the scientific
study of human society. It includes an international, social justice, or sustainability focus, to reveal global conditions & progress.
- Both of the in-person class meetings, on Mondays & Wednesdays, are required.
- Our required online/OER textbook is FREE, or is also available in a paperback option (< $30). One other book is optional but highly recommended (< $15). See sidebar details.
