Details about this class
Hello! I'm William Douglass. Thank you for your interest in learning meditation. The mechanics of intention and manifestation development are the primary focal points of the class, geared towards increasing the power and efficiency of the intention/manifestation cycle. My class has a unique perspective, focusing on the power of compassion, self-forgiveness and gratitude. Learn about how that YOU are the power and how to make the most of your personal experience through meditation and development of your inner being.
My resume includes private instruction with masters during my years in New York City and Portland and forty-seven years of meditating, Tai Chi and Chi Kung training. I've successfully taught thousands of students during my twenty year tenure at PCC. From this I've distilled the important things that I have found productive for a successful meditation practice and creating a positive, proactive lifestyle. Exercises and supplemental material will be given along with a once a week, thirty-minute live lecture demonstration, which includes a live guided meditation and discussions of important and relevant topics. The live meditation employs a simple, safe method of strengthening the power flowing through the seven energy centers called the Chakras. In this class you will learn how to develop your inner vision and to strengthen a powerful, positive outlook. The various topics will be devoted to cutting edge, scientific theories and processes to support and aid in this. To think is to create, so learn to charge up and take charge of your life!
This is a hybrid course that meets via Google Meet once a week and includes a live, guided meditation, online lectures and related activities. There is no textbook for this course. All reading and other materials will be provided through D2L Brightspace. Email me with questions at william.douglass15@pcc.edu.
