Survey of North America and United States history to the early 1800s: Native America, European colonization, colonial development, origins of slavery, American Revolution, early Republic, and Market Revolution. HST 201 and HST 201Z are equivalent at PCC. This course is part of Oregon Common Course Numbering. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available.
