HST201 United States History I

Survey of North America and United States history to the early 1800s: Native America, European colonization, colonial development, origins of slavery, American Revolution, early Republic, and Market Revolution. HST 201 and HST 201Z are equivalent at PCC. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
