G268 Intro to Hydrology
Introduces physical hydrology and water resources management which includes water flow through streams, rivers, lakes, wetlands, and aquifers. Explores historical water use and the impact of climate change and changing water use on watersheds, flooding, and droughts. Includes both laboratory and outdoor field work components. This course is also offered as ESR 268; a student who enrolls in this course a second time under either designator will be subject to the course repeat policy. Prerequisites: GS 106 or MTH 58 or MTH 65, or any MTH course for which MTH 58 or MTH 65 is a prerequisite, and (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 or equivalent placement. Audit available.
