Natural Thread Dyeing
Explore natural dyes and basic embroidery stitches to create a unique color palette using plants and minerals. Students will dye several skeins of cotton threads and one stitching cloth using harvested plants and mordants. Create dye baths, practice various stitches and start creating a final embroidery piece to take home.
