Details about this class
Hello! I am the instructor of EC 201. My name is Laura Cardwell and my pronouns are she/her. I earned my bachelor’s in economics from Portland State University and my master’s and doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
I moved back to my home state of Oregon about 6 years ago and began teaching full-time at Portland Community College. I teach EC201 online distance courses at PCC. I received training through a national training program and through PCC on teaching in an online mode. I learn new things every time I teach this course online.
I hope you enjoy this experience and learn many new things about economics that are relevant to your life. This online mode is designed for students that can navigate online learning. My role as the instructor of the course is to be the facilitator. I am available when you need help so please email me with questions or comments.
