Drawing from the Ground Up
In this indoor/outdoor class, learn techniques for depicting value, texture, and form, using Portland's late summer and early fall plant life. Learn to draw what you see and identify plant species. Field trips from class. All levels welcome.
Closely observing plants is not only a wonderful way to learn artistic skills, but gives us the opportunity to delve into the wonders of the kingdom plantae and learn to identify the local and native plant species we encounter as we draw.
