Stained Glass Basics: Make a Six-Pointed Star Suncatcher

Campus contacts

Learn fundamentals of the stained glass process using a combination of glass you cut yourself and pre-cut glass pieces to construct a six-pointed star suncatcher. Your finished work of art will measure 5 inches across.

Through demonstrations and observations, experiment with and practice the intentional cutting, breaking, and grinding of glass, applying copper foil to the edges of your glass pieces, soldering and finishing your suncatcher.
