Creative Play: A Missing Skill for Visual Artists

Reawaken your creativity by playing. Experiment with materials and techniques, focus on the joy of discovery, and let go of fears of mistake-making. Via drawing, 3D model making and collage, access your innate creativity. All levels welcome.

In our time together, we explore how to break from familiar patterns and generate novel, creative ideas and images. Through play, exploration, collaboration, and feedback, get out of your head and generate new ideas. Take risks and cultivate curiosity, constant experimentation and acceptance of uncertainty. Creativity is a skill to be honed, just like observational drawing or how to mix and apply paint.
