Details about this class
The course introduces the identification and utilization of various strategies to strengthen teamwork and communication specific to the field of Child and Family Studies. It covers culture and communication, including interactions with colleagues, staff, and parents in early learning and social service environments.
This interactive course will include large group lectures, small group discussions, PowerPoint presentations, videos, self-assessments, observations, role-playing, reflective writing, and student presentations. Students are expected to actively engage and participate—i.e., communicate! In addition, students are expected to remain on camera during class sessions.
