Details about this class

This is an online course that supplements your cooperative work experience.  D2L will be used to present the course materials.  Students that are currently enrolled in BA 280A and participating in a cooperative work experience will submit weekly summary reports through D2L.  To be eligible for enrollment in BA 280A:  
  • You must have taken 12 credits of Business courses prior to registration approval
  • There is a special enrollment process for this course- it's best to schedule a short 15-30 minute appointment about this- please schedule an appointment with Career Services (on the request form, indicate that this is for BA 280 A)
  • There is a paperwork process that you will review with career services when you meet.

 

Technology

  • •    Microsoft Office or equivalent (Google Docs, iWork, etc). You must be able to save flies as doc, docx, rtf, or pdf format.
  •     Firefox, Chrome, or Safari browser
  •     You must be able to work with documents and upload to Assignments in D2L.  Directions to use Google Drive in Brightspace.
  •     The technical requirements for most online classes include access to a computer with a modern operating system and a supported web browser

 

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Prerequisite for online classes

Before you take your first online class at PCC, you must complete the start guide. The start guide will help you decide if these classes are right for you. Once you complete the start guide, you will be able to register for these classes.
