BA222 Financial Management

Covers basic financial concepts and practices to explore the principles of planning, acquiring, and using funds in a business. Includes assessing risk and returns, forecasting and planning, working capital management, capital budgeting, financial analysis, cost of capital, and raising funds for new business ventures, small businesses, and corporations. Audit available. Recommended prerequisite: MTH 60. Prerequisites: BA 211, (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
