The course teaches the fundamental skills of payroll record keeping, including calculating gross pay, taxes, and deductions; recording payroll transactions in journals and ledgers; and completing federal and state payroll tax forms.

We will be using Payroll Accounting, 10e (Weinstein, Labyrinth Learning).
